DiodeCavern Electronics is owned and run by Chris Snell.

Chris has been working as an Electronics Design Engineer for the past 18 years. He graduated from the University of Sussex with a Masters degree in Electronc Engineering in 1998.

As a senior engineer for Raytheon, Chris worked designing GPS anti-jam systems, where the ‘Pagan’ system won the companies global distinguished award.

Chris was a Design Consultant at MBDA where he designed missile test systems. His contract with MBDA ran without a break for over 5 years.

More recently Chris has headed the Research and Development Team at Avalon Sciences in Somerset where he specialises in designing low noise bore-hole seismic recording systems.

Chris is an avid caver and has been lucky to visit and explore many of the cave systems in the UK and Europe.  It is due to this interest that his friends persuaded him to design the CL1-C lighting module.
